Sealing Your 2017: an Inner Landscapes Sound Journey with Laura Inserra and Jérémy Marais
As part of the Rose Labyrinth Series
What are the teachings 2017 delivered solely to you? What are the challenges that made you stronger? What are the patterns you repeated and made you weaker? What about the gifts, the opportunities, the blessings, the growth, and the people that were brought to you by this specific year?
In this upcoming Inner Landscapes Sound Journey, in collaboration with Jérémy Marais, I will share with you one of the most sacred rituals I practice: Sealing the Year. When I reach the end of a solar cycle, it is important for me to travel in time and sense all the steps and occasions that gave me the possibility to become who I am in this moment in time. While I envision them, I acknowledge, I bless, I forgive, I thank, I accept, I choose, I cut, I nourish, I honor, I surrender, I transform, I embrace, I give back, I pray…
We will journey vision-ally with our inner ‘eye’, and physic-ally through the vibratory memories in our body. For those who are new to my work, Inner Landscapes Sound Journey is the development of my research around the transmutational and evolutive power of music. It invites and nurtures personal transformation, healing, and self-awareness. These ‘sound ceremonies’ are a musical immersion into enchanted soundscapes and an invitation to listen with your whole body your inner visions, moods, feelings, thoughts, and states. The sound coming from each instrument resonates differently with each part of your being, opening up, liberating, or transforming stuck energies, emotions, creative thoughts, healing, inner guidance, and so much more. Some of the instruments I bring are rooted in ancient schools of wisdom, others are so new you have never heard them. All of them create an opportunity to journey into your ‘inner landscapes’ with a different perspective, a different mode of being. In other words, it is an invitation to relax into your precious ‘presence’ through a form of sound meditation.
The room will be set up in a way that we can fully and comfortably immerse ourselves into the journey. There will be available regular chairs, room to lay down in the wood floor, and an assigned area where you can dance the flow of the invisible. You are welcome to bring a mat, an eye mask, pillows, and blankets if you want to lay down and completely surrender to the experience.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the concert and will close at 7:30pm sharp. No one is allowed after that to enter the space. Please arrive not later than 15 minutes prior to the concert to allow yourself to land and set up your seat.
Online ticket sale ends one day before the concert. Tickets will still be available at the door at an extra charge.
