A steady presence in the Bay Area music scene, Tom Lattanand is known for his captivating guitar style and unique compositions. Weather playing finger style acoustic, funk driven rhythms on the electric, or melodic solos, Tom brings forth a sound that is bold and expressive. His musical skills keep him continually active, while his wide range of musical experiences allow him to bridge gaps between the many genres.
When not out playing guitar, Tom is composing and recording at his studio in Oakland. He regularly writes and records scores for film and television, a process which engages him in collaborations with expansive possibilities. This spirit of collaboration is also evident in his music for live performance. As much as he works on solo material, Tom often teams up with the many talented people around him either co-writing or performing shows. These communities and highly talented friends are the reason he chose the Bay Area as his home in the late 90s. Read more...
